Why We Serve Breast Cancer Survivors

Breast cancer is a devastating disease that affects millions of women worldwide. As well as the physical and emotional toll it takes, many are left with the financial burden of medical bills.

For those without health insurance, these challenges are significant.

After facing such a harrowing ordeal, breast cancer survivors seek a path to healing and resources such as mastectomy bras and prostheses can boost their self-esteem and confidence that has been torn away after their diagnoses.

These items are often expensive and inaccessible, but the Undie Chest is here to change that.

How You Can Support Breast Cancer Survivors

  • Breast Cancer Awareness

    Mastectomy Bras

Mastectomy bras have spandex stretch pockets that help securely hold the breast prosthesis. These bras are made with delicate materials to reduce irritation after surgery, providing comfort and support during a difficult time. Consider donating these items to support women on their journey to healing.

  • Breast Prostheses

Breast prostheses are breast forms intended to restore the natural shape and symmetry of the breasts. Women often use them after mastectomy or lumpectomy procedures and they are an invaluable resource to help women regain their confidence after their harrowing circumstances.

  • Wireless Bras

A wireless bra is designed without an underwire and is made of soft, gentle material on post-surgical skin. These bras are essential for aiding the physical and emotional healing journey of breast cancer survivors, offering them dignity, comfort, and confidence.

Impact One -Alleviating the Burden for Breast Cancer Survivors

My name is Elizabeth Ayers-Cluff, founder of Impact One Breast Cancer Foundation. Our organization supports women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. We assist women wherever they are in their journey after a diagnosis.

We have had the opportunity to work with The Undie Chest in collaboration with our services assisting women nationwide through our Hope in A Box Program

Through their support, we have been able to assist over 500 women with vital essentials such as bras, compression garments, and prostheses needed while in recovery.

With this partnership, we have been able to focus on serving women who are underinsured or uninsured. We pay particular attention to assisting women of color, women in the Latina community, and Native communities.

Our relationship with The Undie Chest has been such a great experience and has been a huge part of our success with our non-profit.

We are grateful for them and the continued support and know the women we serve are as well.

Kindest Regards,
Elizabeth Ayers-Cluff,
